Manufactured to be compatible for use with an array of calligraphy pen nibs, Speedball pen holders feature comfortable grips and are highly durable. Available in blister packs and open single stock.

Oblique Pen Nib Holder: Featuring the same plastic hourglass shape as the Speedball Standard Pen Holder, the Speedball Oblique Pen Holder’s construction also includes an offset design for nibs to be placed to create lettering styles that feature a slant.  Ideal for Copperplate and Spencerian scripts, the Speedball Oblique Pen Holder is for use with a range of nibs including the #22B, #56, #99, #100, #101, and #103 pointed pen nibs. Only available as an open single stock item.

A- #102 Crow Quill Pen Nib Holder: Featuring a plastic construction, the Speedball #102 Crow Quill Pen Holder is for use with the #102, #107 and #108 pointed pen nibs. Available in blister packs and open single stock items.

B – Standard Pen Nib Holder:  Available in black plastic, the Speedball Standard Pen Holder is suitable for use with any standard nib, including all of the Speedball broad edge nibs. The Standard Pen Holder is for use with the following nibs: A, B, C, E, #22B, #56, #99, #101, #512 and #513EF. Available in blister packs and open single stock items.

Writing Inks – Jacques Herbin

Jacques Herbin, established in 1670, is the oldest name in formal ink production in the world. They have supplied ink to renowned figures in French history and are recognized throughout the world for their high quality. Known for their vibrant colours, smooth flow, and excellent performance, these inks are crafted with care and attention to detail. Perfect for writing enthusiasts and lovers of beautiful letters!

These inks are also water-soluble: diluted in water, they offer a delicate and homogeneous colour gradient. Applied with a brush, the inks sublimate your drawings. These inks are mainly composed of water, humectant in order to limit drying at the level of the nib, and preservative to preserve their qualities over time. The all natural dyes used have been specially selected to offer the richest range of colours on the market.

Each bottle has a unique rectangular shape with a groove on top that doubles as a pen rest. These bottles are known as “D” bottles, which refers to the old French unit of measure “la Demi Courtine.”
