Zest-it Pencil Blend is very popular for blending coloured pencils, it is also ideal for use with crayons, oil pastels and graphite. Zest-it was tested with the following coloured pencils – Luminance, Prismacolor, Karisma, Polychromos, Derwent; Drawing, Artist and Coloursoft, and it worked well with the blending medium. Many artists choose Pencil Blend (Citrus Free) as the solvent for their pencils, not only for its excellent blending qualities but especially because it works so well where there is heavy pigment and wax. Also because it leaves no residue in or on the paper, is economical in use and is a safer solvent than odourless mineral spirit and similar solvents.

Zest-it Pencil Blend is non-toxic and non-flammable which many pencil artists value for use with their pencils and in the studio environment. It has very low VOC’s which means little is lost to the atmosphere.
