A better alternative to traditional shading. The Tafula Pencil Brush set is the ultimate shading tools for pencil artists.

Product highlights:

  • Get superior shading results
  • Shade up to 75% faster
  • Safe time & effort
  • Made in South Africa

Product guidelines:

  1. On the outlines, start shading the darkest areas if your drawing, using your pencil. 2H, HB, 3B, 4B & 6B pencils, charcoal, graphite powder & graphite sticks are recommended.
  2. Once the darkest areas are shaded, use the pencil brush to blend the harsh lines of the pencil shading.
  3. As you blend the pencil lines, the bristles of the brush absorb some of the graphite which will later be used to shade the rest of the sketch without having to use your pencil.

No need to clean your pencil brush; the results improve with usage.

About the creator of the Tafula Pencil Brush:

It all started when I was 15.

Unlike most boys I didn’t play soccer on the streets, all I did was drawing.

My first realistic portrait came out surprisingly stunning and amazing specially to my mother’s eyes! I never imagined that I would make a living out of it.

I am Samuel Tafula, a Mozambican who came to South Africa in the 90’s looking for any form of employment. Moving from pillar to post looking for a job wasn’t easy, I finally decided to expose my artistic work from the street corners of Johannesburg CBD. Later I moved to different shopping centers where my unique artistic skills attracted a lot of attention.

I traveled to England doing research on how to improve my artwork, it was then, returning to South Africa that I invented the TAFULA PENCIL BRUSH which is sold online and in some art shops in South Africa. The TAFULA PENCIL BRUSH is designed to save time and improve the quality and beauty of drawings.

I am currently based in Nelson Mandela Square, Sandton City, Johannesburg, South Africa.

Yours sincerely Samuel Tafula.

    A must have

It gets rid of all the hassle of trying to get smooth blends. The more you use it, the less graphite you use to blend because the blender gets loaded with graphite the more you use it.
