Derwent® Procolour pencils are the perfect combination of a strong point and smooth laydown, with a texture that has the covering power of wax, yet glides like an oil. These richly pigmented pencils maintain a sharp point for detailed drawing while minimal dusting keeps work clean and smudge-free. A unique formulation allows for smooth colour-mixing and layering of the vibrant pigment. The sturdy design of the pencil is comfortable and the sleek matte-grey body with a reference colour name and number on the shaft makes for easy sorting. At the end of the pencil is a lovely wedge of colour for easy reference. Procolour pencils also blend beautifully with a range of mediums and artists’ accessories, including blending pens and paper stumps.

These pencils are ideal for layering, cross-hatching and other coloured pencil techniques. Beautiful blended results can be obtained with a range of accessories and mediums, including Derwent Blender Pens and Derwent Paper Stumps.
