Providing many helpful tips and techniques for using PanPastel as he paints.

There will be an opportunity to ask questions via the chat room, which Les will answer at intervals during the demonstration.

Skies with PanPastel Workshop

PanPastel are a wonderful, relatively new form of pastel that allows you to apply the pastel like paint with sponges.

In this workshop you get the opportunity to try out this fantastic new medium as we paint skies with PanPastel.

This workshop will be a prelude to the FREE Les Darlow ONLINE DEMO.

In this workshop you will be experimenting with the diversity of oils as a medium.  Techniques you will learn:

• Creating an interesting base by running and layering colours
• Working up an image using Alla Prima techniques
• Glazing to create layering as well as a semi opaque veiled effect over an image
• Creating an interesting image through leaving elements unfinished
• How to know which elements to include and which to leave out

Join the workshop to deepen your understanding of colour, brushstroke and personal expression.
