More information:
Custom Micron Series
The nozzles for the Iwata Custom Micron airbrushes are wrapped in a platinum alloy, forming an ultra-precise seal within the paint passageways. Unlike traditional all-brass nozzles, these platinum-wrapped nozzles are more resistant to wear and damage from aggressive solvents. When purchased as part of a complete Custom Micron Head System, each component is custom matched and hand-tuned to meet Iwata’s exacting performance standards. This level of detail is what makes the Custom Micron series a top choice for artists who demand flawless atomisation and control.
Eclipse Series
Iwata Eclipse airbrushes use specialised silver alloy nozzles, attached to a compression-fit brass base. These nozzles blend the high-flow design of the Eclipse BCS with the precision of detail-oriented airbrush models, making them incredibly versatile. As with other Eclipse nozzles, there’s no threading required—when it’s time to replace the nozzle, the entire nozzle and base unit can be easily dropped in, making maintenance straightforward. The Eclipse BCS model specifically uses a drop-in silver alloy nozzle without a brass base, also compression-fit for easy handling. The quick disassembly and reassembly contribute to the Eclipse’s popularity and ease of use.
Revolution Series
Iwata Revolution nozzles are also wrapped in a platinum alloy, offering the same durable, solvent-resistant qualities as the higher-end models. These nozzles ensure a tight seal and reliable atomisation, delivering consistent performance for a wide range of applications.
Hi-Line and High Performance Plus Series
Like the Revolution and Custom Micron series, these nozzles are wrapped in a platinum alloy to enhance durability and chemical resistance. This construction ensures a perfect seal, maintaining the performance needed for fine detail work and professional-grade results.
NEO for Iwata Series
The nozzles in the NEO range are part of its unique low-pressure design, allowing for quality atomisation even at reduced air pressures. While more affordable, NEO airbrushes still benefit from Iwata’s precision manufacturing processes, ensuring consistent quality across every batch.
