Charbonnel Lamour Black Satin Ground is an opaque liquid etching ground and a great alternative to solid etching grounds.

This liquid ground is incredibly durable, after application it will not become brittle and chip off the plate, therefore giving the engraver very long periods of working time. Containing petroleum essence, it dries quickly with a hard satin finish. Lamour Black Satin Ground should only be applied to cold plates after they have been degreased. Apply with a supple brush or by pouring it directly onto the tilted plate. Used for printmaking and Etching.

Contains:  Turpentine, Petroleum Essence, Wax.
