Da Vinci Series 7055 Long Handled Bristle Brushes are high quality universal artist brushes manufactured in Germany and designed for demanding oil and acrylic painting techniques. These brushes are made using extra strong Chinese Chungking hog bristles, known for their exceptional resilience, high elasticity, and long lasting performance. The naturally stiff hog hair allows for strong paint movement, clear brush marks, and excellent control when working with thicker paint applications.

The straight edged mottler shape makes Series 7055 particularly well suited to covering large, flat areas of colour, blocking in backgrounds, and applying primers, grounds, and varnishes. The firm bristle structure retains its shape well under pressure, making these brushes reliable for repeated, physical use without rapid wear. They are suitable for use on canvas and other prepared painting surfaces and can also be used for transparent painting techniques where controlled, even coverage is required.

Each brush features a rust proof steel ferrule that securely holds the bristles in place, ensuring durability and stability during extended painting sessions.
