The Concept pad is comprised of heavyweight drawing paper that is ideal for all your dry mediums like pencil, pen, charcoal and pastels. The surface texture is smooth, with a satin feel and although it would not allow heavy layering of pastels or charcoal (because of the absence of tooth), pencil work with fine detail will look crisp and sharp.
