Fabriano Artistico watercolour paper is mould-made. Produced with 100% cotton, it is chlorine and acid-free, guaranteeing long conservation and inalterability over time. Understanding the 3 surfaces or textures of watercolour paper
Rough – A pronounced, varied texture, great for a textured loose feel.
Cold-pressed (NOT) – It’s the paper texture in-between rough and hot-pressed paper, having a slightly textured surface this paper is sometimes called NOT.
Hot-pressed (HP) – Watercolour paper with a very smooth surface and almost no tooth. Good for painting detailed paintings and creating very smooth washes.
The Not stands for “Not Hot pressed”
Artistico is also available in 300gsm rolls, 300gsm sheets and 300gsm blocks.

It comes in Traditional white, without optical bleaching.
It has two deckle edges and the watermark “FABRIANO+ARTISTICO” is visible on the short side. The high quality of this paper will satisfy the requirements of all professional artists and the most demanding amateurs.
Ideal for watercolour, tempera, gouache, acrylic, ink, charcoal, graphite and drawing. It is also suitable for printmaking.
