If you work with charcoal or graphite, then this product is for you!  Glassine is a smooth and glossy paper that is air, water, and grease resistant and although it is mostly used to protect works of art or photographs, it is the ideal paper to use under your hand when working with graphite and especially charcoal. The glassine paper will not damage your work, and you can see through it, always knowing where the paper is resting. Charcoal, graphite and pastel smear very quickly, making it difficult to keep your work pristine – with this paper, it will not be a problem any longer!

Tip: If you want to stick the glassine paper to a frame or artwork, please use an artist tape which is not so sticky and can be removed without damage to the surface. The glassine will also not stick to the painting. Use the sheets to make envelopes for artwork when storing or shipping to clients.
