To accompany the popular range of MaimeriBlu Watercolours, Maimeri offers a range of excellent paint mediums to unlock new levels of potential for watercolourists.

Adding a small amount of Natural or Synthetic Ox Gall improves the flow of the paint on the paper and gives shine and brightness. This medium is used to prepare for wet-on-wet techniques and does not affect the surface colour tone.

The Colourless Artists’ Masking Latex is used for masking techniques. It protects the paper from taking up colour. Apply with a paintbrush or pen nib, and wash brushes immediately in water. Peel the off when it has completely dried to reveal that clean, hard edge.

The Honey-Based Watercolour Medium is a natural flower honey solution made to a traditional recipe. Just a small amount added to paint enhances shine, and improves the elasticity of the paint layer. It does not affect tone colour.

Kordofan Gum Arabic is a natural gum arabic solution that increases the strength of the paint. A small amount added to paint also enhances the shine without affecting the tone colour.
