This role is ideal for someone who enjoys researching products, working with detail, writing clear and engaging content, and turning product information into accurate, attractive, and easy-to-understand online listings.

At Artsavingsclub, our website is one of the most important parts of our business. Every product page plays a role in helping customers understand what they are buying, compare options, discover new products, and make confident purchasing decisions.

The successful candidate will take ownership of creating and maintaining high-quality product pages across our online store, ensuring that product information, descriptions, specifications, pricing, images, and variations are complete, accurate, and presented consistently.

This is a front-end e-commerce content role. No coding or specialised backend development knowledge is required, but strong research skills, excellent attention to detail, good writing ability, and confidence working with online systems are essential.

Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities

(include but are not limited to)

  • Research and compile accurate product information from trusted supplier and manufacturer sources.
  • Create clear, informative, engaging, and SEO-friendly product descriptions.
  • Create, upload, and format new product pages in line with Artsavingsclub standards and brand guidelines.
  • Ensure product titles, descriptions, specifications, attributes, variations, pricing, SKUs, barcodes, and images are accurate.
  • Check product pages carefully before publication to minimise errors and incomplete information.
  • Maintain consistency across product ranges, categories, brands, and variations.
  • Update and improve existing product pages when information, pricing, images, or specifications change.
  • Ensure product images are suitable, correctly displayed, and relevant to the product being listed.
  • Assist with categorising and structuring products correctly on the website to improve navigation and searchability.
  • Work closely with stock, purchasing, marketing, online operations, and other departments to obtain missing product information.
  • Prioritise new product listings and ensure products are published within required timelines.
  • Support seasonal campaigns, promotions, new ranges, and product launches by ensuring relevant product pages are complete and ready.
  • Identify incomplete, outdated, duplicated, or inaccurate product listings and proactively correct them.
  • Work accurately and efficiently when processing high volumes of product information.
  • Continuously look for ways to improve the quality, consistency, and customer experience of our online product catalogue.

Desired Knowledge, Skills & Experience

  • Excellent attention to detail and a strong focus on accuracy.

  • Good written English and the ability to explain product information clearly and concisely.
  • Strong organisational and time-management skills.
  • Comfortable working with repetitive and high-volume tasks without compromising accuracy.
  • Able to prioritise workloads and meet deadlines.
  • Proactive, reliable, accountable, and able to work independently.
  • Comfortable working with computer systems, spreadsheets, and online platforms.
  • Familiarity with WordPress and WooCommerce would be highly advantageous.
  • A basic understanding of SEO principles and e-commerce best practices would be advantageous.
  • Experience in e-commerce, retail, product administration, content creation, or a similar role would be advantageous.
  • Knowledge of art materials or experience within the art and creative industry would be an advantage.
  • A genuine interest in learning about products and understanding how customers use them.
