Each block is glued on all four sides, keeping your paper flat and secure while you work, with no need for taping or stretching. Once dry, your painting can be easily separated using a palette knife or bone folder.

Available in two finishes, Hot Press and Cold Press, each surface offers its own unique character while maintaining the same outstanding performance:

Stonehenge Aqua Cold Press
Richly textured with a natural tooth, this cold press surface absorbs water evenly, making it ideal for wet-in-wet techniques, soft edge work, and blending. It responds beautifully to layering, masking, and lifting, and holds up to repeated reworking without buckling or pilling.

Stonehenge Aqua Hot Press
Smooth and velvety, the hot press version allows for razor-sharp line work, subtle tonal washes, and clean, controlled detailing. Water moves across the surface more slowly, giving you time to manipulate pigment and develop soft transitions — perfect for botanical work, illustration, or stylised rendering.
