Sennelier Acrylic Binding Medium is a high quality pure acrylic polymer resin designed for preparing custom acrylic colours from dry pigments. With a 46 percent dry extract, this medium forms a smooth, transparent, and naturally glossy film once dry, offering excellent strength and durability. Its behaviour is comparable to caparol-based binding media, while offering improved water resistance and long term stability. The final resistance of the dried paint increases as the proportion of acrylic resin increases, making it ideal for durable acrylic applications. When less methyl cellulose is used during pigment preparation, the resulting acrylic colour becomes significantly more water resistant once dry. This versatile acrylic binding medium is suitable for both interior and exterior use and dries to a clear, glossy finish that enhances colour depth without clouding or yellowing. It can be adjusted easily depending on the desired viscosity, film strength, and surface appearance.

Supplied in a 200 ml bottle, the medium is ready to use and works well across a wide range of pigment types, producing a consistent, flexible acrylic film with excellent adhesion.
