Sennelier Oil Paint Binding Medium is a thick, ready to use vegetable oil medium developed specifically for grinding traditional oil colours to an optimum, workable consistency. It is formulated to remain non-yellowing over time and is compatible with all pigments commonly used in oil paint. The smooth viscosity makes the grinding process easier and more controlled, resulting in a balanced paste that is pleasant to work with, even for artists new to colourmaking. This binding medium contains a complete, lead free drying agent that allows for normal drying times, both on the surface and through the body of the paint. When used correctly, it supports consistent film formation and reliable drying behaviour without compromising colour strength or handling.
