The Ghiant Art Collection Retouching Varnish can be used as a temporary protective layer on your painting, used for filling up the porous film of oil paint, to protect it against dust and moisture, and used to correct sinkage or for restarting oil work on a dry base. A retouching varnish ensures that the painting can still ‘breathe’.
