I have previously used the Faber Castell Black pencil series and can recommend them. If you are looking for a cheap-ish artists pencil with good handling qualities and high pigment load they are worth the money. The triangular shape is a bit wierd and not as easy to sharpen as other pencils but on the other hand they won’t roll around on the desk either. The packaging looks like a kiddies product but don’t be fooled: they are a serious pencil.
