Description

The range covers seven brush shapes, each addressing a different aspect of watercolour technique.

The Round (11 sizes: 0–20) offers a fine point for detail, full belly for sustained washes, the ability to vary marks entirely through pressure and angle.

The Script Liner (4 sizes: 1–8) holds a large reservoir for continuous, unbroken line work, calligraphy, lettering, fine botanical stems, grasses, and hair.

The Square Wash (6 sizes: 1/4–1-1/2 in) produces clean architectural strokes and even wash fields. The brush features a bevelled plastic handle tip for scraping and lifting.

The Oval Wash (4 sizes: 3/8–1 in), the cat’s tongue shape, is a versatile watercolour brush shape: flat face for washes, edge for fine lines, tip for detailed marks.

The Dagger Striper (2 sizes: 1/4 and 3/8 in) produces the characteristic tapering dagger stroke, ideal for grasses, calligraphic petals, feathers, and natural forms that taper to a point.

The Wide Wash Blender (3 sizes: 1 in, 1-1/2 in, Size 2) is designed for laying broad, even washes across large paper areas: skies, seas, and atmospheric grounds.

The Jumbo Round Wash (Small, Medium, Large) combines a mop-like belly with outstanding pointing capability, for large-format painting where a single load must cover significant area while retaining expressive mark-making ability.
