The Bandzug nib is a palette nib (or ornamental nib) that is metallic with a square point. It has a reservoir that offers appreciable writing comfort: you benefit from a good autonomy of writing between each refill of ink. The numbers designate the width of the nib of the pen for more or less thick strokes. Unique by sharpness of its angles and by the precision of its upstrokes, the Bandzug nib gives incomparable Gothic letters.
The nib holder is a natural wood pen holder for a sleek, modern look. Ergonomic, it offers optimal grip and real writing pleasure.

The Brause Arabic Calligraphy Set.
– 1 x Black Arabic calligraphy ink.
– 1 x Instruction booklet.
– 1 x calamus.
– 1 x penholder.
– 1 x 2mm nib.
These are broad-edge dip pen nibs, designed to create: thick downstrokes, thin upstrokes and expressive line variation. The different widths let you produce: fine detail work (1 mm), medium script styles (2 mm), bold lettering and larger Arabic script (3 mm). Because Arabic calligraphy depends heavily on stroke contrast and pen angle, these nibs are shaped to maintain smooth ink flow while producing crisp edges. This set is commonly used for: Arabic calligraphy, Gothic and Blackletter scripts, Italic lettering, decorative handwriting, manuscript work, illustration and ink art.
Brause was founded in 1850 in Iserlohn, Germany. It rapidly developed into a modern company producing all kinds of nibs (drawing, writing, ornamental, calligraphy, etc.) Today, the company produces over 400 types of nibs as well as a wide range of calligraphy accessories. Since 1850, Brause has maintained a reputation for producing high-quality, steel calligraphy nibs favoured by artists and illustrators. These elegant nibs are made in the German town of Iserholn, where Brause have crafted their famous steel products for over a century.
Brause has been crafting a complete set of nibs considered to be one of the best on the market by calligraphers. With over 100 years of manufacturing experience, Brause is one of the rare companies to guarantee an essential quality for its nibs: a subtle balance between relative elasticity for easier writing, and necessary resistance for clear strokes.
