The Cap-O-Matic features a brass body available with a chrome, lacquered brass, or durable coated finish. Fisher Space Pen Technology

Manufactured in Nevada, USA, to exacting standards, the Cap-O-Matic uses Fisher Space Pen’s tungsten-carbide ballpoint tip and patented Thixotropic ink in a sealed, pressurised cartridge.

Like all Fisher Space Pens, the Cap-O-Matic is engineered to perform in demanding conditions. It will write:

  • Upside down

  • Over oil and grease
  • In temperatures ranging from −30°F to +250°F (−34°C to +121°C)
