Winsor & Newton Distilled Turpentine is used to dilute oil colour during painting, solvents are also used to clean brushes and palettes after painting. Winsor & Newton solvents are made specifically for artists’ use and are fully volatile, meaning that they leave no residual matter behind upon evaporation from the paint mixture. A fast evaporating, highly refined essential oil with the strongest thinning & brush cleaning power of all Artists’ grade solvents.

• Suitable for removing varnish (including Dammar Varnish).
• Keep tightly closed and away from light to prevent oxidation.
• Do not use it if it has thickened.
