About RIT Fabric Whitener & Brightener

Bleach is harsh on fabric and can only go near whites. RIT’s Whitener & Brightener takes a gentler approach — a bleach-free powder that boosts your detergent’s whitening and brightening ability across both whites and colours, so it can go into an ordinary mixed load without risking the colours in it. Used periodically it keeps whites white and colours bright, and it can also be used to safely remove or lighten stains.

Whitener & Brightener or White-Wash? Whitener & Brightener is for whites and colours, used as part of a normal wash. White-Wash is for whites only, and is the stronger option for reversing yellowing and discolouration.

How to use

Add the powder to your wash along with your usual laundry detergent, using one box per load. Suitable for any washing machine, including high-efficiency machines. Do not use on non-colourfast fabrics — test first if you are unsure.
