Cadence Masking Fluid is a latex-based masking medium that will protect areas, that should remain white or the original colour of the base. It is best applied with a brush, spatula  or silicone shapers for precise application. After drying, it forms a rubbery film to which the paint does not adhere. After spraying or covering with paint, the painted areas will remain unaffected. The technique is similar to wax batik.

You can also use templates for your application, applying the masking fluid over the designated openings. After the work is finished and all surfaces have dried, lightly scrape off the masking medium with your finger or silicone shaper tool.
