Artist Gesso Primer – Daler Rowney

Daler Rowney Gesso Primer has a unique formulation that needs no dilution. Highly adhesive, this primer is ideal for directly sealing all semi-absorbent surfaces before applying colour – both acrylics and oils. Suitable for both interior and exterior applications. It dries quickly to produce a matt surface with a slight tooth that is easily sanded for highly detailed work. If used as a ground for acrylics, one coat is normally sufficient, but up to three coats may be required for oil colour.
Ideal for use with Daler Rowney System 3 Acrylic Paints or Cryla Heavy Body Acrylics.
