The burnisher tool flattens burrs and polishes the plate surface. It is ideal to eliminate scratches, blemishes or to make image corrections. The perfect tool for dry-point etching on metal surfaces. It can also be used in creating tone on mezzotinted plates.

The  Ball Burnisher has a 12mm beech wooden handle with a rectified polished steel cap and an oil-tempered carbon alloy polished steel tip. A versatile tool with high quality and professional results. The ball burnisher has a  round tip, the curved ball allowing for the focus to be on burnishing out fine details and edges. Size: 160mm, 16gr.

The Thick Flat Burnisher has  a wider curved burnisher head, with a more rounded head before the point while the Thin Flat Burnisher has a a curved burnisher head that tapers into a fine point.
