Annie Sloan Chalk Paint is the versatile furniture paint that requires no need for sanding and priming, you can simply pop open the tin, roll up your sleeves, dip in your brush and apply the paint. This matte paint works on wood, metal, laminate, concrete, indoors, outdoors and beyond!

To apply the Chalk Paint, first wipe off any dust and dirt from your surface with a damp cloth. Perform a patch test before using. Once you are happy with the effect, go ahead and paint! Be aware that pine often has a yellow-orange tint so you may need to apply a second coat of paint, particularly if you’re using a paint colour that is lighter than the wood. Optional:  If you want an ultra-smooth finish: dilute the paint slightly with water. Use a roller and apply the paint in thin, even layers. Sand gently between coats.

Ensure the paint is completely dry before applying Lacquer to seal.
