Offering a variety of rich, dense colours, Derwent XL Graphite Blocks can be used for sensitive line work, subtle blending, expressive marks and deep tonal work. Creating different marks with the sides, edges, and corners, this block works in all ways! An embossing tool can also be used to create lines and add texture. Water can be added to the mix for splashes and washes.
XL Graphite Blocks have a distinctive, soft feel and a beautiful sheen. Being very tactile, fingers can be used to smudge and move the colour around.
6 dense shades from Olive Green to Burnt & Raw Umber which work well for bold landscapes. Contains one block of each colour; Olive Green, Dark Prussian, Raw Umber, Burnt Umber, Soft Graphite, Very Soft Graphite.
