SolarFast Film

Create crisp, detailed negatives and positives for SolarFast, Cyanotype, and screen printing with Jacquard SolarFast Film. Designed for professional results, this premium inkjet film allows you to produce high-quality photographic negatives or film positives right from your home printer.

Each sheet features a special waterproof coating on one side, making it uniquely suited for SolarFast printing. Since SolarFast prints require damp surfaces during exposure, the waterproof side prevents damage, warping, and dye absorption—so your negatives stay clean and reusable for multiple prints. Non-waterproof films can easily absorb dye and cause blotchy or uneven results, but SolarFast Film ensures consistent, flawless exposures every time.

Compatible with Jacquard’s Film Marker for hand-drawn designs and touch-ups.

Print only on the coated side (you’ll feel a slightly sticky texture). For deeper contrast, you can layer two negatives when printing.
