Pastel Revolution Freezer is a refillable liquid spray solution that freezes friable pigments (dry pastel, charcoal, graphite pencil, chalk, sanguine) allowing the paintings to be displayed without glass or acrylic protection.

The freezer allows you to fix/freeze and above all to rework your painting endlessly. It freezes the pigments on all supports and formats: Pastelmat, grained paper, canvas, wood, glass, etc. However, depending on the surface, it will be necessary to prepare it beforehand with an absorbent ground or absorbent base, except for Pastelmat which does not require it as it is ready to use. Once the dry pastel, the sanguine or other colour pigments are frozen, they will keep their powdery and shine-free appearance (an unfortunate effect often left by other fixatives).

The colours are not denatured or changed after the application of the freezer on a flat sheet. Freezing the dry pigments also softens the surface allowing work to be rolled up effortlessly and stored without damage such as creases and other defects. (Pastelmat, paper, canvas etc.)

This freezer revolutionises and solves many of the problems that pastel and other artists regularly encounter when transporting or storing their work and problems related to the volatile nature of the pigments which may come off with vibrations, rubbing, etc.

The transport and manipulation of work made with dry pastel can cause defects such as the blur (diminish) effect, or damage due to friction during transport; to sum up, the Pastel Revolution Freezer will solve it as it will freeze the pigments without blocking the surface and the drawing will remain porous and allows other layers of pigments to be applied which a fixative does not allow.

In the 1L refill bottle, the spray gun is not included. However, the spray gun that is sold with the 500ml bottle is adaptable to the 1L refill bottle.
