Cretacolor Fine Art Pastel Pencils are perfect for fine detailed work. Their rich pigmentation and a high degree of lightfastness guarantee brilliant results. The colours have a powdery texture and can be blended, smudged or dissolved with water. They are distinguished by their soft, velvet-smooth stroke. Available in 72 rich colours.
Cretacolor recommends sharpening the pastel pencils with sandpaper. Also, short cone sharpeners for chalk pencils like the Cretacolor Sharpener or Artist’s Sharpener or hand-cranked pencil sharpeners (with short point adjustment) are suitable. Where sharpeners with a regular blade are used, they should be replaced regularly.
