I’m an artist from George in the Western Cape. My passion is flowy art in watercolours and oils. If it can be splashed, poured or painted, I will love to play with it. By building a solid foundation of techniques, I help artists find their inner creativity. Thus providing them with skills and helpful tips which will make their creative dreams become a reality.

The Ghost Petals Watercolour Course is perfect for you if:

Description

Ghost Petals – Watercolour Course Information:

This course is for you if you have some experience with watercolours or you’ve done a few paintings but feel that you lack some of the intermediate skills to paint with ease or if you want to paint loose watercolours but your paintings are all too perfect and precise.

The course is divided into 3 lessons. In the first lesson, I give you 7 hints and tips that will allow you to easily copy this style of painting, as well as explain the two approaches to this style of painting. In the second lesson, I introduce you to a 4-step approach that will ensure that you can duplicate my results easily. In the third lesson, I will demonstrate a more direct, 2-step method for clumps of flowers and explain how you can apply this method to your painting. View the Ghost Petals Watercolour Course.

You will also need:

  • Kitchen towel.
  • A spray bottle.
  • Cloth to absorb excess water.  (A piece of an old towel will do).
  • Clean water and a container to dump dirty water.
  • Masking fluid is optional. You do not have to use it, but I do cover the correct usage of it in the course. There is no exercise that you need it for, it’s simply a “nice to have”, but not crucial. If you’re not buying masking fluid, then you do not need to buy the smallest, round synthetic brush. Alternatively, if you do buy masking fluid, you should also buy a bar of white sunlight soap. We use it to protect the small brush against the masking fluid.
