The pencil is probably the oldest and simplest drawing tool in the world. Always ready for action in any situation and temperature, even overhead,  and with an eraser, you can reset each stroke. A most suitable drawing tool for beginners and – thanks to its many degrees of hardness – for advanced users. For many drawing and painting techniques, it is the beginning of a work of art and even pure pencil drawings can result in impressive works.

These pencils are of the highest quality with a fine lacquer finish and extra-dark graphite lead. The 12 pencils are packed in a sturdy plastic case with a transparent lid.

The MONO 100 is a pencil of the highest quality. Due to its dark graphite lead, it offers an intense contrast. Available in 12 degrees of hardness: 4H-3H (very hard): for technical detailed plans and graphical representations; 2H-H (hard): for geometric and technical drawings; HB-F (medium): for writing and linear drawing; B-3B (soft): for freehand drawing and writing; 4B-6B (very soft): for artistic drawing, sketches and designs. Content: 12 pieces.

The Tombow Mono 100 pencil came to be in 1967 when it made its debut as the brand’s new, highest quality pencil in its popular Mono product line.  Designed by famed Japanese designer Takashi Kono, the Mono 100 was given a bold white stripe over its end and a super glossy finish. What makes it such premium pencil, is the fineness of its core–which contains 10 billion particles per cubic millimetre, to be exact. (Caroline Weaver)
