Protect your artwork with the Royal Talens Varnish for Oil Pastels. This protective varnish prevents oil pastels and wax crayons from smudging and imparts a satin gloss finish. It can be thinned with water and it dries in one hour to a transparent, waterproof finish. Apply directly over oil pastel, rather than over a fixative. Will cover approximately 1 square meter. You do not want to add more than 2:5 parts water to varnish. Shake before use.
