Jacques Herbin, established in 1670, is the oldest name in formal ink production in the world. They have supplied ink to renowned figures in French history and are recognized throughout the world for their high quality. These inks are also water-soluble: diluted in water, they offer a delicate and homogeneous colour gradient. Applied with a brush, the inks sublimate your drawings. These inks are mainly composed of water, humectant in order to limit drying at the level of the nib, and preservative to preserve their qualities over time. The all natural dyes used have been specially selected to offer the richest range of colours on the market.

Each bottle has a unique rectangular shape with a groove on top that doubles as a pen rest. These bottles are known as “D” bottles, which refers to the old French unit of measure “la Demi Courtine.”
