The Royal Talens Amsterdam Standard Series offer everything an acrylic painter needs. A good quality acrylic paint in pure primary colours for creating clear blends and wonderful contemporary colours.
The acrylic colours are a quick-drying paint based on 100% acrylic resin (a synthetic dispersion). When applying acrylic colours thinly and/or thinned with water, a watercolour effect can be obtained. Usually, however, acrylic colours are applied thickly and the result appears like that of oil colours. Many artists prefer acrylic colours because acrylic colours dry much more quickly than oil colours and are practically odourless.
This paint has a very high level of lightfastness, thanks to the use of pure and non-fading pigments. Even after several decades the work of art retain their original colour.
An exceptionally durable paint film (the binding agent consists of 100% acrylic resin), ensuring a flexible and durable film once dried for an everlasting result; Alkali resistant, and consequently suitable for wall paintings as well as a variety of other surfaces including canvas paper, and stone!
This set of Amsterdam Acrylic paints from Royal Talens contains five tubes of primary coloured paint, each 120ml.
Like all good acrylic colour, the Amsterdam Standard Series can be used directly from the tube, diluted with water, mixed with acrylic mediums and will dry quickly (within half an hour, depending on thickness of application).
Set contains: Titanium White, Primary Yellow, Primary Magenta, Primary Cyan, and Oxyde Black.
At Royal Talen’s headquarters in Apeldoorn in the Netherlands Anna Taut and Justina made the wall shine by using Amsterdam Acrylics such as acrylic paint, acrylic markers and spray cans (and of course some Talens Gesso).
