Van Gogh’s black watercolour paper is ideal for creating an impressive watercolour painting on a dark background. This marvelous black surface is a cold-pressed, 360gsm paper that is made of lignin-free cellulose – perfect for keeping your work in excellent condition. The paper is ideal for watercolour painting with opaque colours, metallic and interference colours that really stand out beautifully against a darker background. Mediums such as acrylic ink, gouache and pencils can also be used on this paper. One side of each pad is glue-bound for . Internally sized and with a unique surface sizing ensuring perfect water absorption.
