  • What an incredible gem of a place for all things art & craft. The owner, Janet, is so well versed in her craft. Her knowledge is only seconded by the friendliness. Perhaps for her it was just a normal interaction but for me it felt like she went beyond to make a person happy. Thank you Janet, I will be back.

Great service and very quick delivery. Ordered my products on a Thursday afternoon and received it on Monday morning before 9 am. And they are more affordable than other Cape Town art shops. So happy I discovered them

Coolest place for art supplies. They stock multiple watercolour paint brands. You can find all kinds of good quality brushes, and the range of paper is just amazing. Pricewise they are very reasonable, and often there are discounts. They offer online shopping but because the shop is so nice every now and then I do the 40km trip just to be in the shop. Such a nice place. Since it is located in a shopping square there is ample parking.

  • Brush and canvas is such a great store for both hobbyists and serious artists. They have a great range, and are so helpful. I also had some paints shipped to me recently because i couldn't make it to the store in-person, and they packed them so well!

By far my favorite art store. They have a great selection of supplies at really good prices. The staff are super friendly and Janet goes above and beyond to help her customers with advice and special order requests. They even have a good range of craft supplies, so it's a regular stop for school projects in addition to my art supply addiction. Highly recommend
