Place a layer of translucent white on your project with Cernit Number One to give them some clarity. Once sanded, the piece acquires a varnished look. The range also contains a phosphorescent colour that gives originality to your pieces. The translucent range comes in 56g, 250 and 500g. Like all polymer clays, Cernit should not be baked at a higher temperature than recommended. Preheat your oven to 110-130 ° C and bake for 30 minutes.

Cernit is a modelling polymer clay that contains PVC and plasticizer and must be baked to harden the clay. Polymerising happens during baking and that is when the clay hardens. Polymer clay can be used by children from 8 years up. It is used for making decorative items such as jewellery (earrings, bracelets, pendants…), figurines, accessories, miniature food or even for customisation and restoration of furniture. Children as well as adults or professional artisans or jewellery makers can use this polymer clay.

- Even during baking, Cernit is odourless.
- Cernit can be moulded, sculpted, with or without tools, printed or mixed with stones, pearls, feathers, powders, paints.
- Once the packaging is open, Cernit can be stored in that same package or a plastic wrap, at a normal temperature. It will keep for about 3 months.

If your Cernit clay needs to be softened, the Soft Mix is perfect for the job! The colour stays intact and the consistency is perfect for use. All ranges, including the Doll, can be softened using this product.
For 2/3 of polymer clay Cernit Number One, Metallic, Nature … use 1/3 of the softener. If necessary, use the pasta machine to mix faster and more efficiently. Once it is well mixed and your clay uniform, you can work normally. The softener does not affect the colour.
