Safflower Oil – Winsor & Newton

Winsor & Newton Safflower oil is a slow drying oil that improves flow, increases gloss and transparency. Particularly suitable for use with whites and pale colours resulting in little or no colour shifting.
Winsor & Newton Drying Oils, used in conjunction with oil colour, will modify the colour’s existing consistency, gloss and drying time. Using oils maintains the flexibility of paint films, particularly when working fat over lean, and prevents over-thinning, which can happen when using solvents. Winsor mediums should be used in moderation as an additive to the colour. It is also recommended to avoid adding multiple mediums to oil colour.
