Caran d’Ache Gouache has strong pigmentation, high opacity, matt finished surface, and always remaining water-soluble, as good gouache should. Lighter colours are achieved by mixing in the white gouache paste. The decision to maintain traditional manufacturing methods, using a natural vegetable binder guarantees even application and good light resistance. Recommended for beginners, students and painting classes.

Great paints for quick illustrations in your sketch book. They are less thick than other brands but they are great for what i do with them. Their white is also really great and pigmented. This is a good alternative for less.
